Spring Cleanup

One of the most important services we offer for the season!  It is important to start the season off right to minimize any conditions that will deter proper growth of all plants, shrubs, and even grass!

• We begin by pruning back and shaping dead growth from necessary shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses to promote proper growth throughout the growing season, which also allows us to maintain proper size, shape, and look of each shrub from season to season!
• Next, we clean out all of the landscape beds of fallen branches, leftover weeds, leaves, and debris we have just created from pruning.
• **If necessary, this is the time we also clean out thick, old, moldy mulch that may have not properly decomposed**

Once all of the landscape beds are cleaned, we focus our attention on the lawn itself.  Our goal here is to provide the absolute best conditions for grass to thrive and repair itself from winter weather once April arrives and ground temperatures reach a consistent 55 degrees.  Grass will spread and self-repair on its own if we allow it to saving you more down the road from costly re-seeding and repair bills.

• We begin this process with our high powered back-pack blowers to remove all of the leaves, sticks, acorns, walnuts, kids toys, ect. that may have been embedded between the blades of grass and tangled in the thatch layer over the course of the season.
• All debris that is picked from the lawn is a barrier for new grass to germinate and existing grass to thrive if not removed!
